heyhEy~ I just survived from e 7 days Mohawk Field Camp.. lol.. As what my CSM (Company Sergeant Major) said to us, everyone will be a better man after fieldcamp.. I think what he meant is more likely to be better in doing pushups instead~ sia la.. pump and pump.. now i'm really sick of hearing them saying 'whole lot, knock it down~'.. lol
Anyway~ I've gt some pictures of our fieldcamp trainings.. lets welcome the greenies..

Digging of our own graves..

wa..somebody just have their own way of regaining energy.. lol

shagggg~~~

the one who sleeps beside me every night..

camou on ! for girls out there..this is e best cosmetic ever.. especially when you apply it 2-3 times everyday without removing for 7 days.. layer over layers.. keeps ur face oil free.. try it

garang siaa~~

ready to go..

eh boy.. you think u're well covered ?

ouch !

chill~~

7 days of fieldcamp is really quite an experience.. especially when it's a Mohawk fieldcamp~ lol ! The 'xiongness' is beyond description.. thank goodness that the weather did us a very good favor which is not to rain.. Else we will be sleeping in our graves flooded with ice milo..
We learnt many things like basic military attack & defence.. but the best thing i learnt is the word, Endure.. yes.. you need to have high endurance in you inorder to go thru it. It will be very stressful both physically and mentally. Even when you sleep, make sure that you hug your rifle, else sergeants will take it away from you and farewell to your next bookout day.
It's not the trainings that are tiring, its the expectations from superiors which are traumatic.. things like in 1 min, run back to your basha (a small tent we sleep in for 1st 4days) unbundle your stuff take something and fall-in again.. Once timings are not met, Knock it down~~
There's once our platoon commander knock us down and start his lecturing which lasted for about arnd 20mins while we're in our push-up position.. then 20 counts of alternate leg tusk.. you just felt like standing up and punch him in the face.. stupid 1986 JC batch guy.. lol.. okie la.. i understand that's military life~ Commands are meant to be met.. I hate it when you chiong like hell, yet still kena knock it down when other platoons take their own sweet time and got us into sh!t.. what to do.. endure~~~
One more thing is during our 5bx.. in this 3km run with rifle, i sprained my ankle while running down a rocky slope.. the moment i got it i was like.. damnnnnnnnitttttttt.. the fear is excatly like 7 years back when i fractured my ankle.. just that the pain is not as bad. At first i totally cant walk sia.. then one commander came and ask 'oie, you still can walk not' for no reason i dunno why i still nod my head sia.. then off he goes continue running.. -_- SAF 7th core value: Care for soldiers.. my arse~~ when i got back to camp, i went to see the medic.. to my surprise the officer commanding came.. wa.. head of the company actually massage and remedy my ankle with his bare hands.. I'm flabbergasted at that moment of time..
so now.. the decision to make is whether to go on, or get a status B and stop my fieldcamp and re-fieldcamp the other day.. My thoughts were since i'm halfway thru already, give up now like very boh hua.. and well.. It's a painful decision.. painful as in.. going thru trainings running up and down hills with a sprained ankle..
Anyway~ everything is over now.. I survived thru the nightmare of every recruit..and surprisingly.. my ankle felt better instead.. lol.. miracle or what i don't know.. Sometimes when you felt like everything gets sh!tty.. perhaps try to endure and do the best you can.. and you'll feel proud of what you fought for..
