2 Weeks to Passing Out Parade
Did you realise how time flies ? If you scroll down, you could see me posting about my 1st 5 weeks in tekong.. and now I'm just 2 weeks away from POP.. oh man.. I'm missing bmt life already.. cause I know life in units or command school are definitely not gonna be as fun as life in bmtc.
Well anyway, 3 months in bmtc is really an experience. Despite the fact that I suay suay got into the Xiong'est Mohawk Company, no regrets at all cause after going thru all kinds of shiet.. we do feel proud of what we achieved. Still remember when I first got in, my sergeant told me Mohawk Coy believes in the best welfare, and the best welfare is First Class Training. lol, the moment he said that everyone trembled.. but today I'm so glad that I'm undergoing trainings planned by smart people instead of endless 'tekaning'. Taking my 2.4km run as an example, three cat test results shows how progressive the trainings are.. 1st timing 11.35, 2nd timing 10.22.. and now i got 9.58.. 1st time see 3 digits in my 2.4 timing sia.. lol~
Events recently
Hmm.. It was during our school level 16km route march. Meaning, 4 companies doing route march together, they are Pegusus, Ninja, Leopard and Mohawk. As everyone knows that in bmtc sch 2, ninja and mohawk coy are the xiong ones, so there's this chinese saying 'one mountain cannot hide 2 tigers' lol.. so definitely there will be competition..
so what happened was initially the flow was pegusus go first, then followed by leopard, then mohawk and lastly ninja. We are supposed to march in this flow thruout the whole route march orderly and halfway thru, ninja's OC tried to do something garang, right from the back, leading his man tried to overtake mohawk.. as ninja and mohawk were on levels, our PC commanded a change of cheers to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle theme song.. woah to my surprise, this made the ninja OC flared up and started scolding my sergeants and us. It goes like this ' oie sergeants ! did my company offend you people not ! CB...' and he made his man walk even faster, totally overtook us..
Know what, that doesnt prove anything, this is not a competition whether who can march faster. Whats the point of making your men fastmarch to overtake, and end up on same level again when we reach every check point. Just because of 1 man's ego, the whole company of recruits suffered. My sympathy for fellow recruits in ninja. as for the ninja OC, I totally lost respect in him. I hate to say this, but it's simply childish. Right, more sparks of fire to be expected during the upcoming 24km march.
Live Range & Live Grenade
hai.. talking about the live range, I'm totally dissappointed man.. Was really putting in my best to get marksman, yet everything got screwed up. Lesson learnt, the real live range is so much different from the simulated practise in computer rooms. Firstly for my prone position, my magazine was faulty and end up 4 shots missed. Night shooting, my blinking light was like super dim and I cant even see a thing while other zones are super bright, worse still, my target boards went up and down non-stop while other's stay still there. lol..what can i say, super suay lor. Other than technical faults, I hit all targets..end up getting only a pass. Knowing that my platoon sergeant have high hopes on me, it makes me feel even worse~ arg~
Live Grenade no need to say lar.. just throw an egg-like grenade, squad down behind a bay and listen to explosion. The End.
Platoon IC
was appointed as the Platoon In-Charge for the following week.. SIAN~~ saikang warrior on his way now.. lol. really doing saikang man.. accountable for every mistake the platoon made, then gonna do many admin stuff, report to here and there.. wash clothes also no time lar.. still ask me do so many thing.. on top of that, my secondary role is Rubbish IC.. SAIIIIII kang arhhh~~ #$&#$&#^&*
ok~ enough of army stuff.. met up with ruibin and melissa last sunday.. it feels great to meet up with buddies you havent seen for a long time.. 15yrs friendship and still counting..
and lastly.. say hi to Mr.Lion roar~~ lol..look at the specs~
